00 Anticipated Questions

FAQ.

The questions we get asked before every signature. Sharp answers, zero ambiguity.

Process & Execution

01Really 21 days? What if you slip?
Yes, 21 days from kick-off signature. The deadline is contractual. If we slip for reasons on our side, every day of delay is discounted on the invoice under an explicit clause. If the delay is caused by the client missing the agreed SLA (typically 24 hours), the deadline shifts proportionally.
03Do you commit to KPIs?
We commit to deliverables, not business outcomes. The promise is "the system works, it's in production, it does exactly what was specified". On revenue we make no promise: that depends on product, price, market and your sales team. Pre-emptive KPI promises are the sign of someone who doesn't understand the trade.
07What happens after the 21 days?
Three options. One: you take the system over and run it in-house, with full documentation and one week of support included. Two: monthly maintenance contract (monitoring, iterations, cloud costs at cost). Three: a new 21-day sprint for the next module. No forced lock-in.

Ownership & Billing

02Who owns the IP of the delivered system?
Yours. Source code, prompts, configurations and processed data belong entirely to the client on final balance. You receive repository access and an exclusive ownership licence. Aurora remains Jigen property because it is our commercial engine, but the instance dedicated to your company is yours.
04How do we pay? Deposit/balance?
Standard: 50% on signature, 50% on delivery. For projects above CHF 50,000 we can structure three tranches (40/40/20) tied to milestones. CH/EU bank transfer. Swiss invoicing with applicable VAT. Payment terms 14 days.

Technical & Operations

05Do you work outside Switzerland?
Yes. We mainly work with clients in Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Austria. For extra-EU projects we assess case by case, with priority on a compatible time zone and data-compliance requirements. All delivery is remote; on-site only for strategic kick-offs, on request.
06What is your stack?
Backend Python and TypeScript, orchestration on Anthropic and OpenAI models, vector store Pinecone or pgvector, automation on n8n and proprietary workflows, frontend Next.js, infrastructure on Vercel, Railway and private EU cloud. The stack is chosen per project, not religiously. We document every choice with its rationale.
10Response times to a request?
A request sent to hello@jigen.ch receives a reply within 48 working hours. For active clients, the contractual SLA on a dedicated channel is 4 working hours. Production emergencies have a separate channel with sub-hour response.

Scope & Boundaries

08Can I see real case studies?
Yes, under NDA. Most of our clients operate in markets where the competitive advantage drawn from automation is strategic: publishing names and figures would hurt them. On call we present covered case studies with real metrics and anonymised architecture.
09What do you NOT do?
We don't do graphics for graphics' sake, cosmetic restyles, organic social management, SEO content farms, native mobile apps, generalist e-commerce, or trend-driven consumer product development. We don't sell man-hours. We don't work flat-rate without measurable milestones.
